Tamalpais Advisors, Inc. ("TAI") was established as a California corporation in 2002. TAI is a registered municipal advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB). TAI is also a registered Small Business Enterprise with the State of California and a member of the National Association of Independent Public Finance Advisors (NAIPFA). TAI provides financial advisory services to cities, counties, school districts and special districts throughout California.

TAI provides municipal financing advice and related services exclusively. TAI is retained either on an hourly or project-by-project basis. Since TAI's formation, the firm has been retained as lead advisor on over 80 municipal financings and projects totaling over $45 billion in par amount.
